Members
The members shall consist of the parents/guardians of current band/auxiliary members. Honorary membership will be given to alumni and other interested persons with the consent of the band director. Voting eligibility is limited to band parents. Honorary members shall not participate in elections nor hold an office in the Booster Club.
Executive Committee:
The Executive Committee shall consist of the officers, Band Director, and the Principal of Booker T. Washington New Tech High School. The duties of the Committee are as follows:
- Transact necessary business between regular meetings of the Booster Club, and such other business as may be expected by the Booster club
- To approve the plans and work of the Booster Club
Meetings
The regular meeting dates shall be set by the Officers / Band Director and presented to the membership at the beginning of the school year. A majority of the membership shall constitute a quorum. Special meetings may be called by the Executive Committee or by a quorum of the membership.
